Clipmento supports Intel and Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.
Return copies your selected item. You choose the destination and paste with ⌘V. Clipmento does not need Accessibility or keyboard-monitoring permission.
It is stored locally inside the macOS app sandbox with restricted file permissions. Clipmento does not add its own database encryption. Protect your Mac with a login password, FileVault and appropriate backup settings.
Clipmento skips recognized sensitive clipboard markers supplied by cooperating apps. It cannot detect every secret, so pause recording or exclude apps when copying sensitive information.
When Apple’s Universal Clipboard makes supported content available on your Mac, Clipmento can record it according to your settings. It does not provide its own device sync or an iPhone app.
No. It keeps file references and permission bookmarks. The original file must remain available; copy it again from Finder if its location or access changes.
